Social and emotional skills like collaboration, compassion, self-confidence and creativity are emphasized throughout our programs at Dragonfly. These are skills that will help students form a strong foundation for success and fulfilment in life.
Social and Emotional Learning Brought to Life
Learning in the outdoors is inherently experiential. Through our programs students develop self-awareness, confidence, responsibility and better decision making. Confronting the challenges that outdoor learning presents provides opportunities for personal growth and skill development that extend into other facets of life.
Dragonfly programs connect to different school curricula and support social and emotional learning goals, emphasizing the acquisition of many of the same skills contained in common school curriculum frameworks. We work with schools to support their curriculum, including IB elements like CAS, the IB Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning.
