Seasonal Instructors

Job Description:
Our field staff come from all corners of the globe and bring a wealth of cultural backgrounds and experiences to our team. In terms of work experience, our instructors frequently come with a background in outdoor education, but just as many come from teaching, psychology and social welfare backgrounds. Our people, above all other factors, are what make Dragonfly a great organization and a great place to work!
The ideal candidate would have:
- A University degree
- Outdoor skills and certifications
- A minimum 4 seasons working with children age 7-16 in an instructional role
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Primary responsibilities include:
- Leading and instructing groups in outdoor activities
- Facilitating reflections and discussions
- Ensuring a safe environment, following Dragonfly safety and risk management protocols
