Alps Leadership Programs

Are you ready for a multi activity international expedition around

“The monarch of mountains”?

Launching in Summer 2025 – check back in November for full details!

The Alps, with snowy peaks and glaciers, forested valleys, fast flowing rivers and Alpine lakes, inspire awe and provide a perfect location for young people to become thoughtful, impactful, and inspiring leaders. Essential concepts and characteristics of leadership are integrated throughout the programs. Participants explore their leadership styles and take on active leadership roles, build self-confidence, resilience, independence and perseverance all while engaged in a wide range of exciting outdoor adventure activities and learning opportunities.

Our Alps Leadership Programs are designed for secondary school students, are one to four weeks in duration, and are appropriate for all teens. It takes time, commitment, and drive to achieve personal growth and positive change, and the majesty of the Alps provides the ideal backdrop.

Courses take place in the Alps where Switzerland, Italy and France come together around the highest mountain in Europe, Mont Blanc. There is a great diversity of environments, from high mountain passes to open valleys and the waters that flow from snowy peaks to crystal clear lakes. In wilderness areas we find wildlife like chamois and marmots, while also crossing paths with the cows and sheep that graze on the summer grass and provide us with fresh milk and cheese. Courses also go through iconic mountain towns like Chamonix, charming lakeside villages, and can begin or end in Geneva and Milan.

Shorter programs focus on a particular region while longer courses link together into a single journey. Programs integrate mountain guesthouse accommodation with tented camping and can be fully supported so there is no need to carry heavy backpacks. The degree of challenge is tailored to the needs of each group, and we provide support to help participants prepare for the physical demands of a course.

There are so many great activities and locations it is tough to choose! Physical pursuits include rock climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, zip-lining, hiking, mountain biking, e-biking, white water rafting, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding.
